DTA Forum Started
One of the sites I’ve most recently started is DTAForum.com. I can’t take credit for the gaining popularity because really a former forum that was very popular with the DTA ECU community ceased to work. The old forum was hosted by the owner of Pyscode.com (Nigel, I believe). I had reached out to the owner once the website had stopped functioning as there were several hundred users active on that site posting questions and advice for DTA ECU users. I couldn’t stand not having a forum to go to for help so long ago I had registered DTAForum.com and it looks like Google picked up on it and now people are posting there. It’s good to see the majority of frequent posters made their way over, but many have yet to come around. Granted, its likely that many of the users registered on the old forum were no longer active.
Though slow, the forum is off to a good start and we are working on manually recovering threads/topics from the old site using Archive.org in order to go back in time. Unfortunately many topics cannot be accessed this way but I have had a couple users send me PDF versions of threads that they had saved. I am working on a method of taking text from the PDF and inserting it as posts on a forum but haven’t had much luck just yet – I might ultimately settle for manually entering the text as a generic user just to get the documentation up. Stay tuned and check out DTAForum.com for your DTA ECU and other wiring/tuning needs!
